Hola!!!
So far, I've talked to Mysti and she thinks King's Nation is a pretty sweet name. I haven't reached Anne(Fairy) yet, I don't know if she's back from camp yet or not. If she's at church tomorrow I'll see what she thinks. But yes, for now I am declaring King's Nation our un-official band name. YAY! And I wrote two new songs last night, which I will post on here some other time.
In other news, I will probably be writing a lot more due to the fact that I haven't been able to sleep for the past 2, 2.5 weeks. I think I have temporary insomnia or something. So, due to the fact that I've been getting about 4-5 hours of sleep the last 2 weeks, my brain is almost totally fried. Which means I'm prone to doing more random things than normal. Like, they type of random and odd that makes me scared. It also makes me laugh so hard I can't breathe...
Anyway, I'm off. I've had SNL paused for too long and I don't want it to start without me!

Poor Beginnings
So, we haven't gotten very far.
We have so far:
Half-jinx(me!): vocals, keyboard/piano, songwriting, random odds and ends of things, publicity
Fairy(not using real names here!): guitar, vocals(if we can convince her), songwriting, publicity
Mysti: vocals, songwriting, publicity
Drummer Guy(D.G.): drums(if he still wants in), publicity, anything else he wants to do
And so far, our guitarist is still learning. And our songs either have lyrics and no written music, lyrics and only a tune, or just the piano music. But so far our lyrics are pretty cool!!!
We basically just write what we feel and just what comes to mind. We may write about the way we feel at a certain time, or something going on outside, or just something totally random that makes no real sense whatsoever. It just kind of depends. Fairy is really good at the random stuff. Mostly I write about how I feel, and I'm just really honest about it.
Do we have a genre so far? Not really. I'm thinking we will probably do a little but of pretty much everything, but I would really like to get our name up in the ranks of the awesome Alternative and just plain Rock bands. I am a huge Alt fan.
...and a really big Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin fan. Crazy,huh?
Yeah, we're into a little bit of everything.
But anyway, we haven't gotten too far yet, we haven't even settled on a name yet. I'm thinking King's nation is a really awesome band name but I need to ask Fairy and Mysti what the say first. Fairy is away at camp so I can't reach her until tomorrow or Sunday, and I'm going to call Mysti soon.
But for now, I have things to do.
Like, putting the dishes away and re-loading the dishwasher.
And eating lunch, I need to do that too.
Lunch is very important, kiddos!

Hello!
So basically, this blog's point and purpose is to catalogue the journey of a band.
Our band. Me && my friends' , that is.
Cool, huh? Totally.
So this is going to follow us along our journey from the very very start to a hopefully successful finish.
